This chunky 20" natural Larimar necklace features 31 blue tumbled Larimar nuggets.  It is finished with a large sterling silver spring clasp with 1" extension chain. Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island.  The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning sea in Spanish.  The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea.
