Navajo silversmith, Jimmy Emerson, hand crafted this stunning Larimar necklace and earrings set.  Nine free form natural Larimar stones are set in smooth sterling silver bezels and hang from sterling silver chain. The necklace is beautifully worn with its matching Larimar earrings. Larimar is a rare stone mined only in the Dominican Republic where it was thought to be from the Lost City of Atlantis. It actually comes from a volcanic deposit on the island.  The discoverer of this stone named it for his daughter, Larissa, and mar meaning "sea" in Spanish. The soft blue color looks like the waters of the Caribbean Sea.
